BioMenace Remastered - A remaster of Apogee Software's action platformer is coming 18th December via Rigel Gameworks!

Apogee Software released some great games in the 90's, games such as Monster Bash, Bio Menace and even our personal favorite Duke Nukem. Well one game that's going to get the remaster treatment, and a game that many of us still remember to this day, is the 90's game of 'BioMenace'. Yes indeed for those who loved playing this game back in the 90's, will pleased to know that Rigel Gameworks, a small independent game development team, will be bringing to GOG & Steam 'BioMenace Remastered' as of December 18, 2025; an enhanced modern re-release of the 1993 DOS game BioMenace.


Here's the latest "Experience the classic 2D run & gun action platformer by solo developer James Norwood - originally released for MS-DOS in 1993 via Apogee Software - now with enhanced graphics, refined gameplay, and many quality of life improvements. Explore the original 3 episodes featuring 36 levels in total, spanning a range of diverse environments including cities, underground caves, and secret high-tech labs. Rescue hostages and encounter a variety of dangerous enemies and hazards, putting your fighting and platforming skills to the test. Battle it out with 7 unique bosses, find and collect all the score items and discover well-hidden secrets - including various secret levels, and so so much more"
