Steam Marines - squad-based Roguelike

I was checking the latest releases and came across this pretty damn fine Roguelike that looked like a mix of Megatraveller and Space Marines. This is Steam Marines, a squad-based Roguelike being developed by Worthless Bums. Although it's still in development, it has a really nice art style of that of a 2D retro game intermixed with turn based action.

You play as a squad of military dudes, fighting through sci-fi corridors in Procedurally Generated Levels, against monsters that will not relent. Use your squad to cover defensive positions or funnel enemies into chokepoints to blow them up.

The developer states that the aim of the game is to progress through the various decks of your besieged steampunk spaceship in order to repel the alien invaders. It features permadeath and will have a recruitment system. Build your squad members into deadly, long-range marksmen, or up-close-and-personal death machines. But no one is invincible, and if someone dies you'll have to replace him/her with a raw recruit. If the entire squad dies it's game over.

Currently in Alpha which you can download here or here, they are also hoping for a steam release via steam greenlight. So if you like the game, you know what to do!
