Many children have a real fear of the dark, so think of what it must be like for a two year old where everything in the shadows seems so menacing. This is exactly what Among the Sleep aims to do, to give you a terrifying perspective from a two year old's eyes. But this is no ordinary walk in the dark, as imagination, with the surreal nature of dreams play a large part. Thanks to the developers Krillbite Studio, you'll be Adventuring and Exploring while avoiding threats hiding in every shadow, but there’s no traditional combat. Instead, players will actively have to find places to hide to avoid danger, remember you're a two year old. 2013-2014 could well be the scariest few years yet, as many horror games push to claim the ultimate scare factor.
The kickstarter goal is aiming for a target of $200,000 and for this I think it's well worth it. When I was a child I remember being trapped scared in my bedroom as I couldn't reach the door knob, if what goes on this game was real, many two year old's would probably have been scarred for life!
