Tower57 - 16-bit Amiga inspirational shooter goes GIF mad!

We have featured Benitosub's and artist Cyangmou 16-bit shooter 'Tower57' many times now but today we are going to go one step further and overload this article with as many awesome new gifs and inclusive characters as we could possibly add. Set in a dystopian future, 'Tower57 is the arcade love child of Alien Breed and Chaos Engine with fantastic 16-bit styled pixel art and interactive and destructive environments. It has been on one of our most featured games as it takes the brilliance of those retro titles and gives it a splash of modern excellence. ( Not for slow internet users )

Welcome to our 13th update! This week was mostly dedicated to optimizations on the code side - making sure to keep things running at a non-cinematic 60fps - and character polish on the art side. Since most of the core features - rendering, animation, input, sound, pathfinding, ai, loot, destruction, etc. - are either in place or over half-way there, we are actually starting to add a bit of polish, wrapping up some lose ends, basically going from a prototype to something that feels like an actual game, and slowly getting ready to start putting the demo together
