As if this day couldn't get any better for adventurers, as we've now come across another adventure game that not only looks like a C64 release but mixes it up with point and click post-apocalyptic survival and an RPG. As the developer The Pompous Pixel states; 'Dustbowl' is like an old-school 2D mutated STALKER with retro C64 Graphics, which is now available to buy on Steam.
In this adventure you play as a survivor of an aftermath of a terrible event which shook the world. Having a home hub as an underground shelter protecting what's left of civilization for many years with your father. It's time to be tested, to leave your home and to find out what horrors roam above.
What sounds more like Fallout than Stalker certainly has some pretty interesting features, especially as you have to deal with hunger, thirst, tiredness, disease and random encounters in a huge main quest storyline that takes the player across the blistering wastelands. Further features include : loot, crafting, shops, quests, exploration, wandering NPCs, Easter Eggs and over 50 locations to explore!
It all sounds so much fun and furthermore Dustbowl is available through Steam for PC!
