Big Mac : The Mad Maintenance Man - Theenemy cracks a frustrating C64 title

Now here's a game I never played when it originally came out, it's Big Mac - The Mad Maintenance Man by Mastertronic, released for the C64 way back in 1985 which has now been cracked by Theenemy. With a similar game play style to Manic Miner, the aim of the game was to work your way through a power station with a limited air supply, by flipping power levers while also avoiding deadly traps such as beams, electrical lines and other such nasties that would kill you in one go.

Now I don't often say this but I really do not like this game! It's not the fact that the game is really difficult but the collision detection is down right nasty. This is mainly due to the lever flipping and enemies and your very limited jump height. For example if you've just flipped a lever for the removal of a defence, you need to jump back over it, which 9 times out of 10 ends up with it being flipped back the other way, because the jump height down right sucks. This can be even more annoying if you need to jump over an enemy as well. As for the overall game play, it is certainly challenging and makes you think for your next move, it's just not my cup of tea.
