Sex, Drugs & Video Games! The 90s Virgin story - Kickstarter book launch!

When I think of Virgin Interactive, I think of awesome games such as Lands of Lore, Dune II, Cannon Fodder, Beneath a Steel Sky, and many others. Sure they didn't make these games, but they did publish them and what a list of games they had under their belt too. Oh and if you wanted to know, Virgin Interactive was a large UK game publisher, formed as Virgin Games in 1982 and in 1994 was renamed Virgin Interactive. But when it comes to this book Kickstarter by the Managing Director of the company and then International President Tim Chaney which is aiming for a €52,500 goal. The project lead hopes to release a 200+ page book, covering in detail the story of this great company, it's rise to fame (or more correctly infamy) and talk about all those who contributed.

No stone will be left unturned according to Tim, as with many of stories, yarns and anecdotes no doubt leaving the reader in shock as he talks about what they got up to to ensure the success of the company. The book will also contain never before seen imagery of those who worked at the company, plus a look into the 6 successive campaigns banned by the Advertising Standards Authority and much more!

So yes, if you want to know everything there is to know about Virgin Interactive, then this could be the book to back! We just hope the project lead changes the Kickstarter video, as that's pretty much the only thing lacking in what looks to be a seriously cool book
