Dune 2000 and other amazing RTS games with CnCNet Online Multiplayer!

Although my health hasn't yet returned to some form of normality, we have an amazing treat for you guys and this comes from CnCNet. They are providing a way to play incredible Westwood Studios RTS classics such as Command and Conquer, Red Alert, Red Alert 2, Dune 2000 and Tiberian Sun for free and online via their CnCNet Online Multiplayer launcher and service. Even if this isn't a new news story, we did talk to many on Facebook and they hadn't even heard of this site, especially as you can download games such as Dune 2000, featuring full motion cutscenes, online multiplayer and with a powerful storyline!

Now I'm sure many of you have heard of Command and Conquer, but for me playing Dune 2000 again is just fantastic. But this isn't just the original version provided by GruntMods, but an enhanced version with exclusive levels, an exclusive preview of the expansion “Rise of the Mercenaries”, 4 new music tracks, custom designed menus, HD resolutions and much much more.

Also if you don't remember the original, Dune 2000 uses a similar game engine to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. although Dune 2000 was originally intended to be a remake of Dune II, the plot line differs completely and makes a reference to the execution of Mentat Amon of House Ordos. The graphics were completely overhauled over Dune 2 with a much better looking UI and even contained full FMV's!

So head on over to the main website HERE and download and play all of these great games with many of your friends. ( Please note in case of copyright issues, we are providing the news and not the files )
