OpenTTD is one of the most popular open source releases on our site, and that comes as no surprise to us as it's a constantly updated open source version of Microprose's hit game Transport Tycoon Deluxe. A game that's so addictive you'll be spending hours developing your very own transport tycoon company well into the early hours and possibly beyond! So why are we mentioning this game again? There's been another update making it an ever better version of OpenTTD with 1.10.0 RC1!
Throughout the years we've had a constant number of updates from the creators of this fine open sourced OpenTTD, as they've always tried to keep it up to date and make it the best open source release yet. In fact this latest version works so well, I even had the pleasure of playing it on Windows 10 complete with open sourced graphics, sound and music without the need of the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe CD.. Although you can still use that if you so wish :)
