For those of you who don't own an Amiga or a C64 but an Atari XL/XE, you'll be pleased to know as thanks to a heads up by Saberman, you can download the latest demo 2 of 'Kret'; An Arcade Logic game developed in Turbo Basic, which is a "modest" port of the PC game The Mole; one of the most popular computer games in Poland in the first half of the nineties. The game was created at the beginning of 1991 as what could be described by some as a variation of the legendary game Tetris.
As we said before: While the look of the game is Tetris, the gameplay for both The Mole and Kret is completely different. In this game you play as a little character that has to remove blocks in each of the levels to gain a high score. Just be careful however, as if you remove the wrong block and they all come crashing down, you'll most likely get squashed and it's a game over! Certainly a game worth a look in, and this is just the second version of many!
