Aerial & Cavit - Double the retro gaming fun as a release for many different systems (Atari 8bit now too!)

Remember those days when seaside resorts had many arcade games to play, from top down shoot 'em ups to nifty little platformers. If you do, then Cavit with its retro inspirations is a highly recommended free game that almost feels like a Dig Dug clone. Developed by Inufuto as a 1 player game for many different systems such as the Amstrad CPC, C64, ZX Spectrum, Vic-20 and now the Atari 8bit. The aim of the game is to dig your way through the level, collecting treasure while crushing enemies by large boulders.

The second game to be mentioned and equally enjoyable which can also be viewed in the video above or linked (here) is the game Aerial. This game which was also released for the Amstrad CPC, C64, ZX Spectrum, Vic-20 and now the Atari 8bit. Looks to be a side scrolling blaster with nods to other classic games, with one being Scramble as you fly across the landscape, blasting multiple enemy types for a high score. And that's pretty much all there is to say about the games, but for further info make sure to visit the links here or here
