Great news ZX Spectrum owners as we've just been told from a good friend of ours and also from the developer himself @MinilopR, that a new game has launched for the ZX Spectrum called 'Hakkenkast'. This game available for both 48k and 128k Spectrums, puts you in the boots of Hakkenkast, a mighty warrior that is not only renowned for skills with the Sword, but is on a personal quest to recover the lost spells of Eldritch, that are enshrined in spell books stolen by the Sorcerers of Hussey.
Here is what the website says about the game : Hakkenkast is a top-down dungeon crawler for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. It is designed as an arcade adventure and can be played with 4 directional keys and a single fire key - so it works great with Kempston & Sinclair joysticks. There are four dungeons to explore, each one is a full game in its own right. At the end of a dungeon you will be given an access code that you can use on the next one to carry player attributes across. You should play the dungeons in order. Have fun! Now, go kill some monsters!!!
