Here's a rather unique game you should play if you have an Amstrad CPC, as looking through the itch io website, we've come across an Arcade Platformer that was developed by Leosoft and entered into the CPCRetrodev 2022 competition called 'Druid and Droid'; A game that puts you in control of two characters a Druid and a Droid on a quest to travel to the past to save the future from climate crisis, wars and pandemics.
While that seems an easy enough task for a futuristic pair, before starting their big adventure, they have to take care of themselves. Druid although weak has the recipe for a potion to make him stronger, but he requires some strange ingredients. Droid can repair himself, but he needs certain materials as well. Unfortunately, their needs are so contrary that they are not allowed to touch the other’s items. A treat for one – a threat for the other. Together, they will travel through time and space to search for everything necessary through many different levels filled with dangerous enemies and traps.
