SERAPHIMA - An impressive looking game for the ZX Spectrum by Zosya Entertainment gets a final version!

ZOSYA entertainment have made some incredible games over the years, with games such as Drift! and Valley of Rains. Well it looks as if they haven't finished with the speccy community just yet. As thanks to another heads up by Saberman, we've been told they've also released the final version of their high quality speccy game called 'SERAPHIMA'. A game in which one user has said "Wow, just love that massive sprite/single sprite collection, incredibly well done! I wish more games had done similar, just looks so impressive... this is great."

Here is what the page says about the game " Since the dawn of time, two hidden castes have coexisted on Earth, unbeknownst to mankind. The Guardians, who dwell outside the boundaries of time and protect life on our planet, and the Marauders, who relentlessly pursue the Guardians across the ages, ruthlessly seizing whatever they desire. Locked in an eternal conflict, these castes have upheld a balance between good and evil. But one fateful day, Serafima emerges as the last surviving Guardian. If she falls, the Marauders will remain trapped in their respective ages, but the future of Earth will be shrouded in uncertainty. Serafima resolves to fight until her last breath, defeat her foes, and ultimately save Earth."

  7. Why no one is porting Zosya games to Amstrad or Msx?

    1. Most likely because there isn't a dedicated team on the Amstrad to do it, and there isn't an engine to capable to port over the games. Maybe one day :)

  8. Fun to try this and the team are masters of the ZX, making some of the best games ever (I LOVE the combat racing one!) but the lack of map hurts this title. It's very easy to get lost and have no idea where you are. Definitely worth checking out though.
