Cyborg Warriors - This side scrolling shooter is worth checking out on the Atari XL/XE!

While we have featured many Atari XL/XE games throughout the last few years, with some being brilliant and others just being...Well average. There's one game that's certainly worth checking out if you've got the time to spare this weekend, and it's Vega, Kaz and Miker's newest of game creations called 'Cyborg Warriors'. A rather cool side-scrolling shooter which was originally released in 1991 by Superior Software for the BBC Micro! To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a video showing the game in action.

Here's the latest about the game which was translated. "This is a typical shooter of the side scrolling type "we fly to the right and shoot everything that moves and does not move". Because the gameplay takes place on strange planets, we are dealing with alien life forms, there is a division into ordinary opponents and bosses, we have several weapons to choose from, some enemy formations move as if familiar and the game allows cooperation of two players simultaneously. Furthermore there's an association with the iconic, best game of this type on Atari, "Zybex".
