Knightmare - This upcoming version of a classic looks great on the ZX Spectrum

When I was growing up I used to love watching the 1980s TV show Knightmare, a show in which children had to not only guide a friend wearing a "Helmet of Justice" – a headpiece that blocks their field of vision. But this must be done through a very creepy medieval environment, using their wits to overcome puzzles, obstacles and the unusual characters they meet along the journey. Well this TV show that spawned a number of computer games such as those released on the Amstrad and ZX Spectrum, looks to be finally getting a much deserved and more enjoyable Knightmare inspiration for the ZX Spectrum by Sausageware Games.

While it's early developments for this game, this is what the creator said about Knightmare for the ZX Spectrum that is linked (here). " Hi retro friends! Here at Sausageware Games, I'm working on a new Knightmare game for the Speccy! I'm still salty about the original 8-bit version of the classic TV show, so I've decided to do it myself. I'll be posting updates as I progress, so follow me if you're interested!"

  1. Just need a microphone input device for the ZX Spectrum to shout directions to the player. :)
