AcidBottle(Abgames) is certainly no stranger to creating quality releases for the Amiga; the Arcade to Commodore Amiga games of Breakthru and Wonder Boy are just two of the ones that stand out on IndieRetroNews. Well, here are with another fantastic news story in relation to AcidBottle. As thanks to our good friends at BitmapSoft for letting us know, we've been told that Fast Food Dizzy 2: The unofficial sequel to Codemaster's Fast Food Dizzy, and 1st place winner @ AmigaJam 2024 by Abgames, is not only getting a deluxe edition through BitmapSoft. But as of today you can pre-order the game through BitmapSoft.

Here's the latest from the website. "Fast Food 2 Amiga created using the Scorpion Engine is based on the original Fast Food , originally created by the Oliver Twins for CodeMasters in 1989. You play as Dizzy, fresh from his latest adventures. Now he is feeling particularly hungry and has the task of chasing down and scoffing as many pizza, burgers and fizzy drinks as he can.  As you progress,  avoid the slimes that will often chase you around, some are faster than others!"

  • 3 difficulty levels.
  • Multiple audio tracks.
  • High scores.
  • Deluxe Edition Pre-Order : Enhanced Features
Credits:
  • Code and testing by Acidbottle

  1. I don't want to be a party pooper but how can a paid for product be legal when it uses some else's IP? Did Codemasters give permission?

    1. Well I know The Oliver Twins have seen it, as for Codemasters I don't know. I can't see high tier publishers such as Bitmap Soft going against copyright! So it should all be good :)

    2. Whilst an unofficial sequel, it does indeed have the blessing of the Oliver Twins, so no issues there.

  2. The first Fast Food for C64 or Spectrum 128 is definitely more beautiful and fun!!!
