Sentinel-X - A rather cool looking Space shooter has appeared for the Amiga AGA (WIP)

After spending time with family and all but getting frustrated with the family computer constantly logging me out, I'm now home to show off a rather cool looking Amiga game called 'Sentinel-X'. This Amiga concept by Mateusz Staniszew, not only looks like a pretty decent top scrolling Shooter, with power ups, and Asteroids a plenty, but this game can be tried out on your Amiga right now. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a gameplay video showing the game in action.

While there is very little to go on at the moment, ie no full game description or story. Here's the latest from the creator which has been translated. "Working name Sentinel-X. Requires 040/060 AGA. AGA uses c2p so you need a strong sling for smooth play! On CRT (under AGA) it looks very nice (like CRT)"

  • Controls: ARROWS or JOY.
  • - LEFT - RIGHT
  • - TOP - primary weapon change.

And that's all there is to say about the game so far, but for further information either visit the thread (here) or download the game (here) -Right click save as.

  1. It's actually pretty tough, the spaceship sliding around makes it really hard to avoid the asteroid esp when you run out of ammo - but the graphics clearly warrants the AGA platform (200 colors+ on screen at any given time)
