Moving away from the Amiga and Atari ST we look towards a new game called MAGIC 2: The Tech World, a very challenging new platformer developed by Mansoft for the ZX Spectrum 48k. The game brings back the accident-prone wizard Mordebruk, who has once again managed to land himself in deep trouble. After a spell goes completely awry, Mordebruk finds himself stranded in a bizarre, technologically advanced temporal dimension. Stranded without his usual scroll spells, he must navigate dangerous environments filled with futuristic anomalies to locate four critical components—a monitor, a gear, an energy collector, and a software cassette tape—needed to rebuild a portal device and secure his ticket back home.
Surviving this high-tech labyrinth requires careful resource management, as every defensive spell Mordebruk casts drains both his magic and his vital life energy. Fortunately, players can top up these essential meters by exploring and gathering power-ups hidden across the game's challenging layout with hazards that will test your reflexes. Does this brave old wizard have what it takes to escape his own magical blunders for a second consecutive time or will this be his last?
