Doody Calls - Turd World War - A top-down squad shooter for the Amiga 1200, based on the v1.33 browser game

Here's Doody Calls - Turd World War, a brand new top-down squad shooter developed by Software Amusements. Built entirely from scratch to take full advantage of the Amiga A1200 AGA, this quirky title reimagines the classic v1.33 browser game into a family-friendly, brown-hued tactical combat experience. Players are dropped into action via "Poo-nook" helicopter to command Squad Alpha, a highly talkative trio of AI teammates who dynamically flank enemies and take cover. The campaign spans nine distinct sectors—ranging from the Sewage Works to the Good Ship Stinky—where players must complete strategic objectives like beach storming's and mountain captures across 45 total stages, culminating in tense boss battles.

To survive the onslaught of enemy Poo-copters, tanks, and armored jeeps, your squad can wield an arsenal of four distinct firearms, explosive Air Freshener grenades, and a trusty toilet brush for close-quarters emergencies. The game allows up to four players to share a single screen using standard joysticks alongside the Alinea Computer Octodapter hardware. The game also features environmental hazards like moving trains, a deep 200-rank career progression system with disk-saved local leaderboards, and an attract mode that plays itself if you leave the main menu idle. Best of all it only requires only a stock A1200 with 2 MB of chip RAM, though adding fast RAM will give the chaotic, particle-heavy action a welcome performance boost.
