CR-Fighter‏ - In your face shoot em up gets an Indiegogo campaign!

I do love my shoot em ups especially with all the wave of enemies, multiple weapons and heart pounding explosions and you'll be pleased to know that's exactly what CR-Fighter, by the developer Wonderwall Studios is all about. CR-Fighter also mixes fast-paced action with RPG elements, blended through stunning 3D effects in a 2D world. The developers are currently running an Indiegogo campaign and are teasing drool worthy features such as ship levelling, weapon levelling, new weapons, a non-linear story and a universe of which you can explore. For a goal of just $3,000 and platforms such as PS-Vita PSM and PC they could be on to a winner. Make sure to give the demo a try!

Quantum Rush: Champions - GameArt Studio take on Wipeout in this new Kickstarter

If you loved Wipeout then this is just the game for you! Quantum Rush : Champions is an action packed futuristic racing game, where you race past opponents at break neck speeds, collecting dangerous power ups, and beating the opposition to the finishing line. Even though the original multi-player of Quantum Rush did appear on Steam as a Steam Greenlight success, many asked if a single player version was ever to be released. Sure enough, the developers GameArt Studio have announced through Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight the latest version that will feature an intensely fast paced action packed single player campaign.

Midora - Gorgeous 90's inspired Action-Adventure game gets a Kickstarter

As you may or may not know I'm a huge fan of Action-Adventure games or RPG's that take me back to the gaming years of the SNES, and Midora from Epic Minds is very much inspired by that era. According to the developer Midora is a love letter to classic 2D Action-Adventure games to the like of Legend of Zelda or Secret of Mana. Featuring beautiful retro inspired graphical detail, 12 unforgiving dungeons, 6 villages and cities, the King's castle,  mountains and forests, swamps, a huge map with colourful characters and plenty of baddies, this is a Kickstarter that you really should be funding. It looks just perfect for a retro inspired action adventure.

Star Citizen’s - Arena Commander now available for download!

Remember when we featured Star Citizen way back in 2012? Well it's now of cause it's 2014 and It's incredible to think how far we've come, as Cloud Imperium have just released the first dogfighting module (Arena Commander) for the amazing looking space combat game, Star Citizen. This is only available to people who have put their hard earned money forward but can be downloaded through the launcher or the main download site. Currently at V0.8 which is still in the games very early stages you'll be expected to find the odd bug and glitch but wow does this game look impressive. So far though I think I prefer the details of Elite: Dangerous but of cause that's my personal opinion.

Grimoire : Heralds of the Winged Exemplar - RPG Dungeon Crawler

Many years ago Grimoire, an RPG Dungeon Crawler was mentioned on a well known forum such as Rpg Codex, however through many promises of a release it never came to pass until today. The developer Cleveland M. Blakemore has a rather iffy past, thus it's a shame for a such a cool looking retro game to be tainted by one person. Grimoire should've been released a long time ago, but through indiegogo funding we finally have a demo.

Tiny Barbarian DX - 2D Action Platformer + Kickstarter

Another day another kickstarter and this time it's Tiny Barbarian DX. A 2D Action Platformer game with a Tiny Barbarian, who likes to slice and dice with his sword and ride deadly beasts into battle. The game now has a much improved combat system over the original TB that makes juggling enemies a breeze, they can even be knocked into each other for extra damage. Your character has a number of new moves to attack enemies from within a different direction. The platform basics are pretty simple but so much fun, even the edges of platforms can be grabbed in case you miss a jump.

Pier Solar HD - epic 16bit J/RPG for xbox/pc/dreamcast/mac/linux

Pier Solar HD is a huge 16bit RPG though the developers call it an RPG it looks very much like a jrpg, the type of rpg games you'd being play on a SNES/SEGA (Chrono Trigger) for example and sure enough, the developer states. After 2 years, 3 prints, and 8 versions of Pier Solar for the SEGA Mega Drive & SEGA Genesis - we are pleased to announce we have been hard at work on releasing Pier Solar in HD for Xbox 360, PC, Mac, Linux & SEGA Dreamcast.  Pier Solar is a brand new HD remaster/remake and the only way this will be released is if you visit the kickstarter page and pledge to hit the $139,000 goal
