24 Killers - Flash minigame concept goes full-desktop with greenlight and kickstarter
Ever since doodle jump made it big, quirky, hand-drawn games have been getting a lot of love, and Todd Luke's catalogue of games certainly excel at that. In 2013, Todd made a quick flash game for the '13 7 Day Roguelike Challenge which was a sort of clue-like (or cluedo depending on what part of the world you hail from) but with monsters instead of Prof. Plum. Well now he's expanded on that and is turning it into a full blown adventure game, 24 Killers.

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures [Greenlight]
As an avid viewer of all things Angry Video Game Nerd, I am eagerly awaiting his debut movie, which is sure to become a cult smash internet hit when it is released later this year. For now though I'd like to bring to everyone's attention this Steam Greenlight title 'Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures', which stars the Nintendo Nerd in hopefully epic retro-ness against all sorts of video game evils.
Flowstorm - arcade racing and aerial combat game with a kickstarter
Another game that needs your pledges via Kickstarter is Flowstorm by developers Neat Corporation and it's also on Steam Greenlight, however that was an earlier version. But what is Flowstorm you may wonder, basically Flowstorm unlike the other multi directional shoot em ups we mention, this time is an arcade racing and aerial combat game. It also uses the same type of control method as Thrust which is a pretty old game, however unlike those, you need to use the world around you to gather momentum to complete the game. This is a pretty awesome looking game with a really neat touch to the gameplay genre.
Aqua Kitty - Milk Mine Defender : Shoot em Up
Another high quality Shoot em up, but this time with Cats! It's Aqua Kitty : Blast your way through level after level of fast paced, horizontal scrolling underwater action in HD 720p Hand Drawn, 16bit era styled graphics. Each level is a branching map progression, while varying sea depths subtly affect the Shoot em up style gameplay. Although this is a PSN title, they hope to port it back to the PC if the interest is high enough, thanks to Steam Greenlight this may be the case. The game is being developed by a 2 person team of experienced developers: Art by Dugan (the artist for games such as `Stealth Bastard`, `Gravity Crash` and `Rock Boshers`). Code by Gabor.

Build a Greenlight Bundle - Upto 9 Games of Goodness!

If you so wish, you can spend as much as you want and donate it to a charity. But what about the games?
Knytt Underground - HQ Platformer
Not long till Christmas, so the news will probably slow down a bit as people will be enjoying Family time or getting drunk. But today it still continues as normal with Knytt Underground, a very well made Platformer.

Flowstorm - arcade racing and aerial combat game
Another game that needs your votes is Flowstorm and it's on Steam Greenlight. What is Flowstorm you may wonder, basically Flowstorm unlike the other multi directional shoot em up we mentioned, this time is an arcade racing and aerial combat game. It also uses the same type of control method as Thrust which is a pretty old game however unlike both of those you need to use the world around you to gather momentum to complete the game. It may sound strange but in Flowstorm it works really well, this is done by the underside of your rocket which when touches the edges can slide about. But be careful, if you hit the edges on your front or at the wrong angle you will blow up into pieces.
The basic idea of the game is to use the edges of the game world, while also using your rocket to power you and give you momentum to slide from one part to another. It seems completely crazy in explanation but this is how the game is played and the object is to get to the end of the map. I've seen trailers of this game with players so desperate to finish that once they reach the end they power themselves so hard the rocket smashes just into the finish area without actually touching down!. Yes you can also use your weapon against other enemies/objects in the game world but remember it's a racing game. In addition, the game features a level editor, which is currently available in the standalone alpha version of the game. Don't forget to vote for this to be on steam greenlight!
