An overhauled version of Green Beret developed with top-notch coding, graphics, and high quality music. To coincide with this news, provided below is the full details of this release with some gameplay footage
Green Beret - The Commodore 16 gets a far superior version of Green Beret compared to the original release!
Green Beret was an action arcade game released by Konami in 1985. It is remembered for its Cold War setting and its reliance on the player using mainly a knife to dispatch enemies, although you were able to collect many different weapons to aid you in combat. Green Beret was one of the hardest games I had ever played and yet was one of the games that gave me the best memories! Sadly however if you had the Commodore 16 version, it was widely regarded as one of the worst video games ever made. Well at least until now...

Green Beret retro classic gets a 2016 PC remake footage tease!
You may or may not remember the name Langford Productions, but that developer was behind the previous enjoyable remakes such as Cookie, Pssst, Pyramid, Jumping Jack, Automania and The Hunch. Each one from the ZX Spectrum that was given a rather cartoony look, with original graphics included and made fully playable on the PC. So after all those were announced I gave Langford Productions a task, could the developer remake the famous game ' Green Beret '! Which was one of the most difficult action platformers I have ever played on the Amstrad CPC 464. Sure enough, today we got the first tease for the Green Beret Remake, and so far it's looking pretty decent!
