Silverrock Collection - A great easyflash release on the C64 featuring Hugo!
Many of you are probably still playing through the newly released preview of Galencia on the C64, but there's another special release that has recently appeared today and that's the Silverrock Collection released by SNAQZ. This easyflash cartridge bonanza took us completely by surprise as it's a tribute to some of the coolest and strangest games that have come from a company well known for putting games on the tv!
Stranger Things - Hit '80's' style TV show but as an adventure tribute? YES!
You may or may not have watched Stranger Things on Netflix, but let me tell you it is one of the best TV shows of 2016. It has everything which made the 80's so good such as ET, Close Encounters, as well as JJ Abrams' Super 8 but ends up like a twisted Stephen King story set in a Spielberg universe. Me and my girlfriend were completely hooked pretty much right from the get go, so you can see why I'm dribbling down my chin to learn of a one-room, point and click adventure game, done in tribute to the series Stranger Things by none other than Infamous Quests, creators of Quest for Infamy and more!
Futurama - TV fan based Adventure game is looking mighty fine!
The sun is shining and it's feeling warm so how could it possibly get any better? Well how about the fact that Arjon Van Dam has just contacted us to tell you of a new update to his fan based Adventure game of 'Futurama'. Developed using AGS (Adventure Game Studio) for the PC with no release date as of yet, this TV inspired game will be very similar to games such as Kings Quest and Space Quest but have all of your favorite characters such as Bender, Fry, Leela and many more! These latest videos will not only show you just how far the game has come in development including two new areas, but they may also make you chuckle!
Simpsons Pixels - The hit TV series goes all pixelated!
Everyone I'm sure has watched the brilliant TV series of 'The Simpsons'. But what if I told you there was a fantastic pixelated version of the classy intro that's just appeared. Well here it is, Simpsons Pixels. A Pixel tribute to the hit series "The Simpsons." directed and animated by Paul Robertson and Ivan Dixon. Music by Jeremy Dower. What is as, as far as I'm concerned, one of the best remakes we've seen and one that would look good even if it actually appeared on TV!
