Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (AGI) - Adventure remake is in the works!

Some time back we mentioned Arjon Van Dam's rather eye opening fan based adventure of Futurama, well now we've just heard from the developer himself about another game that's being worked on as a second project, 'Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (AGI)' - Point 'n Click Remake. That's right gamers, the first part 1987 adventure is being completely re-written/recoded with those classic graphics and animations using the AGS Engine but with full mouse support!

Futurama - TV fan based Adventure game is looking mighty fine!

Well how about the fact that Arjon Van Dam has just contacted us to tell you of a new update to his fan based Adventure game of 'Futurama'. Developed using AGS (Adventure Game Studio) for the PC with no release date as of yet, this TV inspired game will be very similar to games such as Kings Quest and Space Quest but have all of your favorite characters such as Bender, Fry, Leela and many more! These latest videos will not only show you just how far the game has come in development including two new areas, but they may also make you chuckle!

Until I Have You - Fast paced retro aesthetic platformer

Many years ago a game was released called Abuse, in which it had two control types both keyboard and mouse, one for moving and one for aiming and shooting. So here we are with "Until I Have You" sporting that same control scheme with added frustration and retro aesthetics. A platformer based on skill developed using AGS, it will push you to the brink as you jump platforms, slash with knife and shoot with gun. Featuring 8-bit sound effects, chiptune music, innovative controls(?), 8 levels, cinematic scenes, slow motion, boss fights and parallax this is our recommended game of the day, even if it is really hard!

Red Hot Overdrive - Impressive free racer with a hint of nostalgia

I'm not usually one for writing articles at midnight, but when I checked out Red Hot Overdrive by AprilSkies I knew my readers would be in for a treat. For those of you who remember games such as Outrun or Lotus on the Amiga, this is one of those games. A third person racing experience that takes us back to the gaming 90's with cool weather effects, great music and the thrill of the speed.
