Bio Evil - Isometric Resident Evil on the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis now with sound!

Some time ago we shocked the community with the announcement that the classic Resident Evil, originally released on the Playstation, created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara by that famous company Capcom. Was unofficially being remade to the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Genesis as an Isometric remake by PSCDgames. Well there's good news for today and no it's not a complete release, as we've been told in our email that a new piece of footage has been released which shows the work in progress title of ' Bio Evil ' as being tested with the original soundtrack. (only 2 melodies are inserted, in the final version there will be all the music).

Isometric Resident Evil teased on the Sega MegaDrive / Genesis as 'Bio Evil'

If I said to you Resident Evil you'd probably think of the survival horror game first released on the Playstation, created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara by that famous company Capcom. But I bet you'd never think it would appear on the Sega Megadrive, Genesis as some sort of 16bit isometric cross breed! Well guess what it almost has! As thanks to a heads up in our inbox we've been told the work in progress isometric unofficial version of Resident Evil as 'Bio Evil' has once again been teased but this time with new animations and brand new rooms!

Resident Evil (Capcom game, Sony PlayStation, 1996)

Our perception of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ is strange. Normally in our minds we have a set of arbitrarily defined tick boxes. Cross enough off and something is good. If you have lots of gaps then it is bad. But now and again you find flawed genius. Something that on the face of it has too much wrong to be good, but despite the many faults, greatness still shines through like a beacon. George Best, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Spike Milligan and Peter Sellers were all regarded as genius’ in their respective fields, even though they all suffered deep character defects.
