Defender of the Crown - ZX Spectrum edition by Cinemaware Retro limited to 250 units!


We've been keeping an eye on the speccy forums this week and after a heads up by our good friends Cinemaware Retro, they have announced the full details of the Defender of the Crown ZX Spectrum version. As many of you know, not long ago we spoke of a rare game by Mirrosoft that according to Cinemaware was never officially released, although some of our members have said otherwise. Yet this week as shown by the image above, Cinemaware Retro have told us the FIXED version is available for order, limited to just 250 units and shipping will begin October 2016.

Knights of Honor - Glorious Medieval mod goes full Widescreen HD!


I can't believe I'm mentioning Knights of Honor, one of my most favourite strategy games of all time by Sunflowers GmbH. But here I am talking about it, as a creator by the name of Gazatus has released the Ultimate Mod for Knights of Honor. A compilation of older mods plus a complete lorefriendly rework. Which means, new content, new music, new quests, economy tweaks, harder AI and a full HD Widescreen Mode!

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Medieval open world RPG woodland teaser!


The open world medieval RPG and a massive Kickstarter success 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance' by Warhorse Studios, had only just last week saw the release of a rather lovely 'morning in the forest' alpha video teaser. In the video you'll see the improved details from the moving foliage, ground detail, tree textures, lighting and also added bird sound effects.

Hearthlands - Take the role of a King in this Medieval RTS


For those of you who remember Beasts n' Bumpkins as you focus on village management while helping your little villages to survive, you might want to check out Hearthlands; the latest indie development that features city building through an RTS genre. It is a game with simple mechanics as you do not control your subjects directly but challenging in the aspect of management as you focus on city building, resource management, diplomacy, heroes and other aspects that is typical of the daily life of a King. Even though the game looks nice and interesting, Hearthlands is still work in progress and a final build release date has yet to be decided.

Defender of the Crown - One of Cinemawares greatest games is now on GOG!


After our last week announcement by Cinemaware, we are now delighted to further announce that Defender of the Crown is now available to buy on GOG.com  This is one of many all time classic games that will be on gog from Cinemaware, but it's great to see that the developers have released this incredible Strategy game as the first in the line up of great games. Relive a defining moment in the Amiga's life time, as you play through medieval gameplay of conquering, tournaments, and damsel rescuing that set a high bar in stunning graphical presentation.

Dead Crusade - Aesthetic Games Inc updates with a creepy story trailer!


It looks as if Dead Crusade, a medieval survival RPG through Kickstarter needs a real kick up the backside! As there are only 19 days left and it's only raised $8,829 of a $250,000 goal so far, which doesn't bode to well. And thus, to give it that helping hand, Aesthetic Games have just released a big tease of the Dead Crusade story! Dead Crusade uses the Unreal 4 Engine, set in real world 14th century Europe during the Black Death pandemic and features plenty of gory game play.

Dead Crusade - Aesthetic Games Inc aims to give you horror through the Medieval Ages (Kickstarter)


Aesthetic Games Inc have just announced through Kickstarter a brand new horror filled game using the Unreal 4 Engine, set in real world 14th century Europe during the Black Death pandemic. Featuring great graphics, single player, multi player and head chopping game play, this is a new take on the Zombie Apocalypse. A medieval survival horror RPG, where you travel through cities, countrysides and other interesting locations trying to stop the undead horde. If you liked Medieval Warfare and want more blood gurgling horror, then Dead Crusade is just what the doctor ordered.
