Just as I was about to give you another news release, when our good friend Knights of Bytes has just given us an exclusive heads up over his in development C64 game ' Sam's Journey ', which has now received a new costume makeover! A C64 platformer with incredible detail that is dropping jaws in the retro scene, is going crazy disco fever, as not only does the above screenshot show off the beautiful world map with different regions to visit, but the latest trailer and more screenies below gives us a glimpse into a new purple costume of style almost out of the film Greece!
But wait there's more, as this isn't just a costume makeover that makes him look good, but just like the pirate screenshot below, he ends up with new moves such as a spinning fall. To coincide with this news, we have some exclusive screenshots, and a brand new in game footage!
As the developer has noted before, Sam will be starring in Sam's Journey, a brand-new original scrolling platform game for the Commodore 64 with huge levels to be explored, hidden items to be found and secret passages to be discovered. So if there is one game you just have to look out for, it's Sam's Journey, which we hope will be available this year!
