Antonio Marcelo has recently contacted us through our inbox about his latest game ' AscDungeon ', which is not only free to play and available online, but is a platformer made using ASCII! In this ASCII platformer you play as the mighty adventurer warrior Kharlazan, son of Khadar. His tales are told throughout the land in Tavern and Inns, and it's one such story ' Escape from Berdolock's Dungeon ' that YOU will be a part of, a place of dark magic and danger...
Available as a free to play game but still in early development, you control that little yellow guy in the screenshot above. You must avoid all other enemies and deadly traps, grab the items including the key and get the hell out of there to reach the next stage. But be warned if you don't have the sword to wipe out the evil, reaching the exit may well feel all but impossible. In terms of what I think of the AscDungeon, it may not be the best looking game we've seen, It's made in ASCII, but damn not only is it a ton of fun to play, but it is VERY addictive, I nearly couldn't put it down to write this article.
