Most of us on Indie Retro News are huge fans of platformers, especially ones that are known as a Metroidvania, a sub-genre of an action adventure game, with concepts similar to Metroid and Castlevania hence the term. One such game that will appeal to you Metroidvanians is a game called ' External Visions ' by team BitClub. A new game that is in development with a recent demo, that takes the player through the life of an average man escaping his depression in an imaginary world he created around him.
Even though External Visions is still a demo, the game looks to be pretty damn decent even at this early stage. But as for the full game that is due 15th Novemeber 2017, it will feature 60 different enemy types, each with their own strength and patterns, 3 unique powers that can be combined to make your way through the levels, 5 challenging boss fights, and items that can be purchased or obtained to unlock new areas and battle monsters.... So if you love your Metroidvania's keep an eye out for External Visions when it's officially released next month.
