Toki - Is this Arcade classic coming to the Amstrad CPC?

Way back in 1989 a designer by the name of Akira Sakuma released a fantastic Arcade shooter platformer game in which you controlled an enhanced Ape transformed from a Human that could shoot energy balls from his mouth defeating strange creatures and finally defeat an evil Wizard.  It was a really good game that had a number of ports such as the NES, Sega Mega Drive, Atari Lynx, Atari ST, Amiga and Commodore 64. So you'll be pleased to know that thanks to a heads up via our Facebook page, we have learnt that this great game could be coming to the Amstrad CPC Plus!

Developed by a team called AmstradGGP who are two French enthusiasts of the Amstrad. This possible development which is due to be finished and come out for the 30th anniversary of the Arcade game. Will be supported on the CPC+ and GX4000 platform. The developers also go on to say, Toki CPC is a fan version and although they will be putting all their heart and experience in to the game, it wont use all the capabilities of the CPC but will have all the levels, integrity, as well as enhanced programming and sound.
