Some rather interesting news this evening, as we have just learnt General Interactive are working on a Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? Homage, which is going to be called Chinatown Detective Agency. This game inspired by that classic educational 1985 Broderbund title, is instead set in Singapore in the year 2032 in which you play as a private detective hunting down a serial killer while also managing your own business.
In the original Carmen game, you were a rookie in the ACME Detective Agency, tasked to track down crooks from the V.I.L.E. organization that have stolen famous works from around the world. The educational part was being able to use your knowledge of Geography to not only question witnesses, but also to find out clues with the end result to hopefully find out where the theif had gone. In regards to this game however, there isn't much in the way of gaming info for Chinatown Detective Agency, but they have said it isn't just a homage to Carmen, but will feature lots of Adventure, Mystery, Management, and lots of flights
