Tiltrune - A room flipping puzzler for the Amiga and C64 by AI/Gaboo Arts Entertainment

Gaboo Arts Entertainment with the help of AI has released Tiltrune, a clever new gravity-shifting puzzle game simultaneously targeting both the Amiga and the Commodore 64. The core mechanic turns the entire room into a mechanism, allowing players to rotate the screen left or right by 90 degrees. This rotation alters gravity, causing the explorer, crates, and gems to tumble into completely new configurations, effectively transforming what was once a blocking wall into a walkable floor. To succeed, players must meticulously plan their moves, pushing crates into position to absorb dangerous falls, dodging lethal spikes, and collecting every single gem before charting a path to the green exit.

The game boasts over 80 main puzzle rooms spread across five distinct vaults, alongside a special final chamber and unlockable post-game bonus challenges. Given the danger of falling debris, the developer has cleverly included a generous 100-state undo buffer and unlimited retries to encourage loose experimentation and creative problem-solving. Completing the package is a suite of features, including par targets, star ratings, and comprehensive performance statistics, all tied together by an animated end-of-run tally and disk-saved high scores.

  • TILTRUNE for Amiga brings our original Commodore 64 puzzle game (TILTRUNE C64 version) to the Commodore Amiga, with reworked graphics, animated title and reward screens, and Amiga music and sound effects. It preserves the original rooms, rules and controls.
