Neptune Lander Elite - A homage to a 1979 classic, gets a C64 release

We've featured this game already as an upcoming title with classic inspirations, but during the weekend as a heads up by Saberman, we were told that C64 Mark with music by Phaze101, and additional ideas by Stacy Bates & GRay Defender, had released the C64 game of Neptune Lander Elite; a game which is based around the original Lunar Lander that was released by Atari way back in 1979 on many Arcade machines across the Globe.

Lunar Lander was a game with lovely vector graphics that was playable on Arcade machines, Your mission, to pilot a lunar lander module for a safe touchdown on the moon. What Neptune Lander Elite brings to the table however for fans of the original game, is not only must you navigate your pod through many increasingly difficult levels while managing your fuel reserves, but there's teleporters, animated doors, turrets to avoid, background sparkle and a great soundtrack! Pretty impressive for his first C64 game developed by C64 Mark!
