We've featured a number of great match 3 games on Indie Retro News, games such as The Return of Traxtor and Vegetables Deluxe to name but a few. But now after getting another heads up via Twitter , and from the developer himself, we've come across a brand new game for MS-DOS systems called 'Super Space Fuel'; a freely playable love letter to DOS EGA games which has been created directly in Borland Turbo C on a 33MHz 486 PC.
Super Space Fuel developed by Megakode, is an addictive Match 3 puzzle game whereby the objective in the game is to fill up the docking space ships with fuel, by swapping adjacent shaped gems to form lines of three or more in a row, with each successful swap giving you an ever higher score. Although a better development description can be found at the website below, rest assured that if you end up playing this game, not only will you get a nostalgic tingle back to the DOS days, but you'll keep on coming back to the game as it's a ton of fun.
