Turrican has been teased as an early proof of concept for the MSX1 by Geppo's MSX Adventure!

A rather famous game for this early evening is none other than Turrican. A game which has had countless mentions on IRN throughout the years on multiple systems, has now appeared as an early proof of concept with hopeful future development by Geppo's MSX Adventure for the MSX1. Turrican was originally released in 1990 by Rainbow Arts and programmed by Manfred Trenz with an incredible soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck. The game featured great shooting action, powerful weaponry and amazing game play that is still loved to this day.

According to the creator this is a very early work in progress of one of his projects as Turrican for the MSX1. Although the developer does state this is a proof of concept of which we have mentioned above, he is unsure if he will develop it any further as he is still seeking from the original creators before going ahead." I have tried to contact Julian Eggebrecht (actual rights owner) to ask for permission, but so far have been unsuccessful. If someone can put me in contact with him, please do so. This would make me really happy as maybe this project could continue further".... So watch this space!
