Identity - Live another life in this latest Kickstarter from Asylum Entertainment, Inc.

Asylum Entertainment, Inc are currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Identity; a new modern-day open world MMORPG for PC and Mac with complete freedom to be or to do anything you want. Now the popular Altis Life, which is an Arma 3 based mod certainly has it's fan base with gamers being either friendly citizens, criminals or policeman going about their daily lives, but the developers of Identity are hoping to take it to the next stage.

According to Asylum Entertainment you can live as an honest civilian, a criminal, a police officer, paramedic and many more all in the comfort of your own home while playing in either first or third person view. There are no levels or skill grinding, but talent and perk progression, so the actions of you, not your character, which matter most. The world itself certainly looks impressive in both the graphical department and size, with a massive online and persistent world controlled by the players living within it, going about their daily lives working and forming great careers.

For those of you who feel that working in real life and working in a game too tedious, the developers have you covered. From action such as police force fights, gangs, cartels and small time games with paint balling with friends and more, this certainly could push the MMORPG into a new form of gaming excellence.

Further Features :
  • Play on the official servers or host your own with your own rules and options.
  • No subscription fees and never pay-to-win.
  • A massive, dynamic world
  • VOIP communication
  • Vehicles and transportation
  • Guns and other weapons
  • Own a piece of the world
  • Frequent micro updates
So there you have it, that's the main stuff covered and with a Kickstarter goal of $150,000 goal and $27,296 already pledged, they are on the way for a Kickstarter success.

Identity is certainly an MMORPG to impress and one I'm likely to be a criminal in, who needs good guys right?
