Dorke and Ymp - Unreleased SNES title finally appears and it looks good!

You may have noticed by now that we usually bang on about unreleased Amiga and or C64 games seeing the light of day, but gonintendo has announced the release of an action platformer that goes by the name of ' Dorke and Ymp ' for the SNES. According to Piko Interactive who made the game available, Dorke and Ymp is an unreleased Super Nintendo game developed back in the early 1990's by a Swedish company called Norse. The game was developed with unlicensed tools made by the game programmers. Unfortunately the game failed to acquire a publisher and was never released.. Until now!

Thanks to Piko Interactive, they found the original programmer, composer and artist and acquired the source code at about 50% of the game. But not content with just that, they added lots of new features, given the game a much needed update, and what is most impressive made the game available for sale, fully manufactured as a 16 bit SNES cart in a box with inclusive manual!

•Over 100 Bugs and Crashing bugs fixed!
•Added a whole new world and levels (Volcano)
•Added Menu, cut-scenes and ending.
•Implemented password system
•Designed, developed and implemented boss fights (4) according to the original game story.
•Organized the game to be able to play with continuity.

So what are you waiting for? Grab yourself this rather stylish looking action platformer today!
