Now it's time for Excess to come out of the Christmas cold, as they too have released a C64 game preview and this one is actually playable and suits family members of all ages. Welcome to ' Squid Jump Preview ', provided by Nimbus of Excess. A game that requires your character Squid to jump as high as possible without falling back down or touching enemy fishes!
Although I did not play this game for too long as I have others to play. From what I experienced during my short play through, it's a very cute and lovable game that I think even young kids will enjoy. All you've got to do is hop from one platform to another to reach the top by holding down the button and using the direction controls to control mid way movement. The higher you go, the higher the score! From what I could tell though, it's lacking in game music and sound and according to feedback on the source site it did have CPU Jam issues, which has since been fixed in a new update!
