In 2014 we gave you the heads up for a really cool action platformer called ' Momodora III' that was developed by Rdein. It had the retro inspired look of a SNES game and the playability of a more modern Cave Story. Well fast forward to this month and the same developer this time known as Bombservice, and published by AGM PLAYISM, have announced the fourth game in the series as 'Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight', and will be released on Steam 4th March 2016.
As you can already tell from the video above it could well be just as good as the other games in the series, however unlike the other ones this is a prequel and the developer will focus more on the game play and art, with more involved combat and bigger and better animated sprites. Furthermore, effort has been made to include tiny details, expanding on the world lore with more exciting boss battles.
But if that didn't tickle your gaming fancy, the developer has noted beautifully animated graphics, special moves such as combos, lots of items that can be combined to create new strategies, a varied world to explore filled with secrets and treasures and much much more. As such I'd highly recommend keeping an eye out for the game when it's released on Steam for PC, this Friday 4th March 2016.
