Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 mod for the Sega Master System!

In 1987 Sega released the great side-scrolling platform game ' Alex Kidd ' for the Sega Master System console. Although it was first released in Japan in 1986 but internationally in 1987, it was one of the most well known games as it was also built into most Master System II's. For anyone that has played the rather enjoyable original, will be pleased to know that during the Hack competition 2016, a creator by the name of Ian has released the ' Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 Mod ', which is a direct fan sequel to the original Alex Kidd in Miracle World and features more than just a new title screen!

A far more detailed discussion about the development of the game is available to view on the main website, but in short; Alex Kidd in Miracle World 2 is about 80% complete and features new music, a whole new set of levels with new secrets and puzzles, a new longer haired Alex sprite, a new title screen, new map screen and new characters. Further developments include the last two levels, a last boss, possibly redesigned enemy sprites, Alex sprite and much more yet to be announced.

A worthy download indeed for any retro gamer, so head on over to the website link (HERE), download it and let us know what you think!
