This could well be our first Intellivision homebrew as only just last month, the developer Kiwi announced a brand new Intellivision game called ' Towering Inferno ', which is inspired by the movie Towering Inferno. Currently in an early stage of development, the developer was originally going to make a top down game called ' Venture ' however after seeing a clip of inferno for the Atari 2600 on Facebook he decided to change over from Venture and convert the engine over to this new game.
Featuring animated flame sprites and addictive gameplay, your task as a fireman is to avoid being burned to death and to rescue the citizen by bringing him/her back to the exit. Just be careful of the flames scattered about however as if you don't put them out with a quick blast of your water, you'll get hurt and then die!
Towering Inferno is available to download and play as an early 0.2 version
