Willy's New Mansion Special Edition - Daniel Gromann's twelfth anniversary ZX Spectrum release

Way back in the early 80's Matthew Smith released Jet Set Willy, the sequel to Manic Miner for the ZX Spectrum and ported to most other home computers by the publisher Software Projects. Playing as Jet Set Willy in a flip-screen platform game you needed to move from room to room in his mansion collecting objects from a previous party otherwise Maria the house keeper wouldn't let you back in to his bedroom. But today in 2016 in celebration of the twelfth anniversary ZX Spectrum release of the fan game Willy's New Mansion by Daniel Gromann, he has made available the Special Edition which takes his game and improves upon it in a very big way.

As I have time constraints today I was not able to do a full write up or a preview, but what I can tell you in relation to this Special Edition, it features two additional rooms 66 in total, which is 10% more than Jet Set Willy, five in game tunes set individually with each room, seamless design of the main game screen, a hard time limit which may prevent the player from completing the game successfully, two separate game over screens, Patch Vectors which produce special effects beyond what the game engine could originally do, teleportation, and much much more. So basically if you were or still are a Jet Set Willy fan, you'd be silly not to try Willy's New Mansion - Special Edition, at least once.
