Another tutorial game to grace our screens by Retro Game Dev and trainered by Laxity is a rather cute little tutorial platformer called RetroGameDev Platform Game Preview. Now just like the first game we mentioned, this one is of course a platformer as a show case for game development in Derek Morris's book Retro Game Dev, which helps you learn how to create games for the C64.
The game wont win any awards for great gameplay but it's still a fun little tutorial showing what type of games can be created thanks to the great tutorial write ups found in Derek's book. The book for example helps you learn about 6502 Assembly Language, the hardware, Computer emulation, sprites, SID audio effects, animation and much much more.
