Thanks to a heads up by our good friends RetroVideoGamer they've come across a lovely platformer for the NES called ' Nova the Squirrel ' developed by NovaSquirrel. Available as a free download with a possible commercial cartridge down the line, Nova the Squirrel puts you in control of a lovable character who must traverse many different levels and fight multiple enemies in an attempt to save the world of Latte from the evil 'Scheme Team'.
Explore 33 levels and fight 7 bosses across five different worlds in aim to complete your quest. The game features multiple abilities copied from your enemies, over 35 different enemy types, plus variants, puzzle mechanics, a lovely soundtrack by Vuurniac Squarewave, no lives or time limits just checkpoints, collectables, bonus challenges and a bonus game called Double Action Blaster Guys!
