ROBOTS RUMBLE - A challenging puzzle platformer released for the ZX Spectrum

Great news if you're a ZX Spectrum player as we've recently been informed that Miguetelo Art has released his puzzle platformer ' Robots Rumble ' for the ZX Spectrum 48k and 128k. Yes indeed if you're looking for a challenge and love listening to a fabulous soundtrack (128k) then read on as I think you'll agree this game will keep you hooked!

In this game you must guide your robot through many different screens avoiding deadly obstacles along the way or you will lose a life. What makes this game unique and very challenging, is the fact you'll need to use each of the magnets on both sides to pull the defective robot towards your chosen direction without touching anything nasty. Just beware to add to an ever increasing difficulty is the fact your energy supply will run out if  you take too long, so hurry up and grab a battery before you run dry.

So what do I think of the game? Well to be honest I hate puzzle games, but with this game I really enjoyed it and that was a surprise! It isn't just the music and well thought out levels that pulled me into this game, but it's the unique idea of using magnets to control a character and the fact it isn't so difficult I didn't want to play any further. It's a very nice game indeed and I'm chuffed to bits the developer decided to release it, and not leave it on his harddrive unplayed by any of us!
