Something slightly different for this end of the week retro heads up, as we've been contacted by Chris Ainsley that as from February 6th, he will launch the TREASURE HUNT JAM; a brand new creation contest to develop an old-school treasure hunt text adventure game with no graphics and minimal text, all judged by an all-star judging panel such as Scott Adams, Tim Gilberts, John Wilson, Mark Hardisty, Stefan Vogt, Blerkotron and Julia Minamata.
Yes indeed if you loved adventure games whereby specific typed commands such as GO NORTH result in the correct or incorrect choice and a further advancement of the story, then look no further than this latest competition by Adventuron. As in this competition I'm sure it will be filled with great games to play from around the world.
