Wonderboy - A great Arcade classic is Demo'd on the Atari XL/XE

When I was a wee lad spending all my money down at the Arcades, one such game I used to love was that fantastic platformer ' Wonder Boy ' designed by Ryuichi Nishizawa. A game which started its life as a skateboarding rock jumping and axe bashing platformer, that later became the adventure platformer with RPG elements Wonderboy in Monsterland. And it's the original Wonderboy which is getting an announcement today, as thanks to Saberman letting us know, the classic skateboarding platformer which many of us still love to this day, has just been demo'd on the Atari XL/XE by Hoaxer team.

Yes indeed, ladies and gentlemen, Wonderboy is coming to the Atari XL/XE and for the first time this year you even download a very early preview demo which gives us a taste of things to come. Please note this is still a work in progress version, but as the team notes : You can collect eggs to turn it into an axe, you can throw axes, collect fruits, stumble when hitting a rock, die when falling, collide with objects and yes you can even start from the last sign if  you die... So it's yes considered playable!
