H.E.R.O Returns - A new take on the classic H.E.R.O game comes to the ZX Spectrum

Sometime back we mentioned the classic game of H.E.R.O, which was first released way back in the 1980's for the Atari 800/2600, ColecoVision, C64, C128, and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Was not only being overhauled for the C64 but was also coming to modern systems as an inspired game called 'Bobby Bombastic'. Well if you've given up waiting for those games but still want some H.E.R.O platforming fun, you might be interested in playing the latest game from gusmanb called H.E.R.O Returns.

Coming as a complete surprise to us as thanks to a heads up from Saberman, we've been told this latest game from gusmanb is a new take on the H.E.R.O game and can be classed as an unofficial sequel to that classic game. In this one which comes with a story before you begin the game, you play as that classic character from the original H.E.R.O and must rescue 16 miners trapped deep in the caves after a terrible mining accident has taken place.
