Dizzy - The Ultimate Cartoon Adventure is getting a "better" version!

We have done a History lesson on this game before via Indie Retro News, but to get you up to date on this original title. Dizzy began his little life in 1987 with the hit game "The Ultimate Cartoon Adventure". It was a game that came with some damn fine game play and for my age creepy enemies! I remember the spiders dropping from the Tree's, the Bats and the underground theme which made it ever more creepy if being played on a green screen Amstrad.

So why is Dizzy back in the news? Well thanks to a heads up via YolkFolk and idpixel, we've been told that Andrei Titov who is behind numerous DizzyAGE engine improvements and great fan based games. Will be giving the original Dizzy game a new lick of paint. These features include not just 16 new screens, but code optimization, better graphics, smoother synced frame rates, bug fixes, new sounds, extra plot, Dizzy is now rendered "by a mask", and as idpixel have noted coming soon hopefully to the ZX Spectrum.
